What is a Discovery Flight?

If you or someone you know is interested in learning to fly, a Discovery Flight is where you start.

A Discovery Flight is your first flight lesson. It's designed to show potential flight students what flying lessons are like and help them decide if they want to start flight training.

It's normal for prospective students to take one Discovery Flight, but a few like to take two or three to make sure they like flying before making that commitment to training.

We offer customized flight options for clients with specific needs or requests. We want to make your Discovery Flight a memorable and productive experience.

During that time, your FAA-Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) will answer any questions you have about learning to fly. Before you go up, you will have a short lesson with your CFI.
